Prologue
The sun's rays hit my eyes with such force that I was blinded temporarily. Outside was bright, and seemed to be just barely sunrise. I reached up to rub my sore eyelids but found I could not raise my arm. I realized, then, that no part of my body could move. A rush of claustrophobia overtook me, and I began to panic. A shadow emerged from my right and stood over me. It stayed there, watching, I think. Then more dark shapes came and crowded around me, whispering. I became aware of a glass tube restraining my movements. I forced my voice to cry out, but no sound came out, and I struggled, trying to brake free. And then I saw a pink figure in another glass-like object. A girl to be exact. And that girl was the same girl of my other dreams, that girl was the one.
